Garlic is a perpetual crop. Plant in fall and enjoy delicious homegrown garlic next summer and every year thereafter. Garlic prefers established garden beds with well-drained, loamy soil. To prepare the bed, simply mix the rabbit manure and organic fertilizer into your soil. Plant the cloves 2″ deep (pointy side up). Water well and add a thick layer of mulch. Cut tasty scapes in June and harvest heads in July.
