Scarborough Sage has soft, grey-green leaves with a pebbly texture. Violet-blue flowers appear in spikes in the summer. Sage repels pests and attracts beneficial insects. Prefers well-drained fertile soil. It is used to season stuffing, poultry, meats, and vegetables. To harvest, pluck off individual leaves. Pinching the tips of a young plant will stop the growth.
