Hardwood Ash for sale 1 gallon bag – Pick up at our farm
Wood ash is a valuable source of plant nutrients. Contains natural biochar. It’s high in potassium (which encourages fruiting & flowering) and also contains phosphorous and micronutrients including manganese, iron, zinc and calcium.
Hardwood ash is alkaline and can be used in place of lime. Add thin layers to your garden and compost heap to sweeten the soil and jumpstart biological activity. Don’t let wood ash come into contact with seedlings, and avoid using it around acid-loving plants such as blueberries. As a general rule, apply about two ounces of ash to every square yard.
We do not ship plants or products. All items must be picked up at our farm in central NY.
