Traditionally, these thick-fleshed Macedonian peppers are roasted on flat metal stoves, peeled, and ground into a delicious relish called ajvar, which is eaten on bread accompanied by soft cheese. Large 6-7″ deep red peppers are great fresh, grilled, stuffed, and sautéed. Prolific plants may need support due to heavy yields. Height: 18″ (Sun)
