HEIRLOOM: 65 days. This kale has been grown in the Tuscany region of Italy since the eighteenth century. Sometimes called ‘Dinosaur Kale’ because of its bumpy-textured leaves. Toscana kale is a key ingredient in the savory minestrone soup, ‘Zuppa Toscana’. Tasty leaves loaded with anti-oxidants are considered to be a “super food”.
